General Manager of IT and Online Trading Department at Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment Co. (KSE: KMEFIC).
  • Established IT department and infrastructure from scratch in 1996 and enhanced the same to become scalable for future expansions.

 

  • In 1998 assisted Kuwait Stock Exchange in developing the Forward market.

 

  • Designed and launched the first ever On-line trading platform in the Middle East in 2000 – Alawsat.com which was fully compatible for working with multiple markets (GCC and US Markets) and currencies. (www.alawsat.com)

 

  • Established Brokerage offices in entire GCC (except Qatar) for facilitating Direct Market Access using fully owned subsidiaries.

 

  • White labeled Alawsat for local and other banks in the region to facilitate online trading for their customers (Bank of Kuwait and Middle East in Kuwait, Ahli United Bank in Bahrain and Ahli United Bank in Qatar).
